Very Interesting stuff as always Richard! We really appreciate all you and your team do to collect, organize, and categorize so much history in the Big Bear Valley and present portions of it here to SCM!

Thank you for the kind words. Apparently many others are at least looking at the file since the number of "views" is over 9000. I was wondering how accurate of a count that really is. I am thinking that every time someone clicks on the subject the view count goes up by one not some other quantity.

Richard, Yes, that would be the number of "views" since the thread was started in November. A view is simply that, a view of any page of the thread. Not Unique. For example, I viewed this thread 5 or 6 times to just read the various PDF files you posted so you can see how views can add up with just a single person, however, 9000+ views is WAY above average for a thread this old so you should feel good about that!

I am amazed that there has been over 23,000 views on this post. I am still looking to identify members of the cast that are unidentified in the panoramic photograph. If you have any idea please post.

Don't know if this guy is still around but had little shop across from Carl's a few years ago then started working out of his garage. Might have moved up north but if still around know his stuff. Frank (909) 915-0925

No new COVID19 cases in Big Bear in the last 27 days. Is it safe to say the overwhelming concern about tourists returning to BB is now gone?

That would be crazy, Craig. The big one hits on a ski lift, over a huge valley below. A speaker should yell out 'bar down' earthquake!
Has the haul rope (cable) ever come off the sheave wheels?

Yup craig, they were both campfires, both in non-legit spots, definitely not in fire rings. Not huge bonfires but small fires...
