I'm not a skier, but I have to comment that conditions on the resort webcams look epic. Sunny skies and excellent snow coverage on the slopes where it's needed, but when you're done, you step out of your skis and walk on dry pavement and drive home on clear roads. Snow only where it's needed, what a concept. Back east the snow falls nilly-willy all over the place, makes a real mess.

Applenut, the conditions, especially considering the lack of any significant snowfall for far too long are truly epic.

Suggest to go out a bit later than normal, say 10-11:00 am after the sun and skier traffic have softened up the snowpack.

Considering we had a snowless January, the conditions at the resorts are really good. We had some good snowmaking runs recently and that has really helped things out. Wait until after this current storm and if we get the predicted 6-12 inches, things will be even better!
