I'm guessing there was a shift in the oxy or thermocline, resulting in the clarity. I really don't know

I saw a couple of dead fish floating at Pine Knot yesterday too

HIB we were at Ridgeway. I grabbed the net and cleaned up about a dozen trout from there but I saw plenty more by BB Marina and old ski beach
Some bass too

Are you off your meds?
I was specifically responding to Cb5050 who asked if the power was on in Running Springs.

AT&T giving me a credit for yesterday's cell interuption :-) Maybe other utilities can follow that example.

Your credit of $1.90 will appear in 1–2 billing cycles—no action is required by you.

Thanks for being a valued customer.

Yikes! What happened to the lake? Suddenly the water is very clear but there were dead fish on all the beaches.

Wow, Boots! Six days. That's pretty bad. We had Frontier DSL and switched away from them years ago. We have Spectrum cable internet now. It's not as cheap as we'd like. But, it has been remarkably stable. It was up even through our longest power outages. (provided that I supplied power to the modem and router.)
We are currently considering switching to Frontier Fiber. Cheaper, and faster. But I don't know about the reliability.

Doggie- internet is usually DSL but since it's been down we've been relying on cell phones for access.

Frontier is our DSL provider. We had no internet for SIX days. All we got from them was double talk and run arounds.

Frontier has been solid.

Boots, is your internet fiber, cable, or DSL, cellular? I'm hearing that most of the problems may be with cellular. Especially phones. Lots of folks relying on wifi calling through their internet connections.

Does anyone know the reason for this outage? BVES is saying nothing to my knowledge.

Our internet is in and out repeatedly and has been for hours

SCM, we'll see... it looks like some things are still down here and there. I saw the Big Bear California Live Cam went down just a little while ago. Man, it's tough to keep all this modern tech stuff going out here in the wild west...
