KD6: no but i checked the oil on and ran the generator for 20 minutes. Bought it after the last preventive outage a couple of years back. I'm sure itll find its special purpose one of thesemdays when we least expect it...

Did anyone get a (simulated) PSPS message from BVEC today? Or was this only to public safety personnel and not those who had signed up for notifications.

On Saturday June 20,the Big Bear History Museum will be hosting a special display of antique agricultural engines and other equipment presented by Western Antique Power Associates (WAPA). The Museum is located on the east side of Greenway Drive (just northeast of the airport approach, 800B Greenway). The museum opens at 10 AM and closes at 4 PM. The museum also features a working blacksmith shop and working ore stamp mill as well as a LOT of history and FREE GOLD PANNING!

I am at the top of Cushenberry grade, and the clouds overhead are producing thunder. And the wind has picked up a bit.

I sure do love the weather up here.
