And just to be clear, I have been a permanent resident since service was initiated. I live and receive mail here in BBC, my kids go to school here. I'm the damn definition of a permanent resident, both legally and otherwise.

I wrote out a whole thing here describing the situation, but it was "too long" so it didn't post...and I'm not writing it again, lol.

tldr: They scheduled me based on my mailing address, which is not legal based on the tariffs from CPUC, though even if it was, I have a bill from April that has my service and mailing address in BBC, yet BVES still scheduled me DO for that month. This is typical BS from a private utility that is happy to steal money from it's customers.

The CPUC is going to take care of it for me, and then fine BVES...which, we will all end up paying for when they increase rates

Major prayers to this young lady to be in the hands of our Lord and to the family,friends and the first responders who had the difficult job of dealing with this tragic accident.
I would love to help out the Family if anyone knows how i can. TIA.

DrunkPirate - Only one home is your permanent home with the locals rate.

When I was living in one home and building my current home, only one was on the permanent local schedule. When I moved into the newly completed home, I had to call the BVES office to have the permanent local schedule applied to that home, even though by then the electricity had been turned off at my original home.
