Per downdetector: Frontier Communications outage is widespread across many states. Thankfully their billing dept. is also compromised (so at least they can't get paid while out of service).

Thanks Snowski. We’re on Rockspray in Moonridge and it’s been out since early this morning. To the others, I’m glad we’re not alone. Misery loves company 😜. Wish they could have given you an estimated time for coming back up 😩
