It was the rude, drunk tourists and the rising crime rate that got me.
I sold my house in Big Bear in 2021 when the market was red hot and moved to Running Springs.
I absolutely LOVE it here. No crime whatsoever and no tourists!
Same climate (I love the four seasons) and everyone is friendly, but if I HAVE to get down the hill it's a quick 15 minute drive.

Charlotte11 hour(s) ago I sold my house in Big Bear because of all the jet spraying. I couldn't even go outside anymore without getting a headache. The continual power outages were becoming absolutely ridiculous after losing about $500 of meat in the freezer. What a hell hole my precious Big Bear has become. I was raised here in the '80s.
