Just lost power on Eagle Point.

Watchful and Crissy, we too bought a Generac a few years ago and highly recommend.

Crissy, I hear ya! We got a Generac "standby" generator a few years ago, and it has MORE than paid for itself in terms of peace of mind and comfort too! Can be run off of propane or natural gas (we chose gas, but it can be converted anytime).

16 kilowatts powers the entire house - we can literally run all appliances simultaneously (not that we need to, but it's nice to know). We have it set to wait 10 seconds before transferring off the grid so it won't switch over just for brief outage "blips."

We get it serviced annually, but that's all it has needed in 6 years. Gosh, I sound like a salesperson but I'm simply a satisfied customer.

Finally a day off to get some work done around the house and voila, I guess I’ll just be forced to relax the way we did before the dark times…💤

Power out in Boulder Bay nearly 10 hours. No updates 🤬🤬🤬.
When BVES stated that most power would be restored in 8 hours, they Punish Moonridge & Boulder Bay with longer shut offs...
Time to upgrade Mobile Generator with whole house Generator and Solar!

The Village and above to the south didn’t lose any power today.

It's quite likely they're running the valley generator, but don't have enough power to light up the entire valley. So they're likely electrifying grids in rotation to give everyone a break.

Red ant hill power back on at 340 am...

After rereading lol I see I was wrong you actually meant us over here on the west side. I’m assuming we will be last to come on. Always seems like it works that way. Anyhow sorry that’s what I get for reading this at 230 am.

Watchful I’m not sure who you are referring to to in west end, the village maybe? Idk but red ant hill were still no power and have been since 930pm

Power's been out on the west end since 9 PM, yet we can see lights on around the valley. So it's a "selective" PSPS? Or is BVES rationing by cutting power to one section for hours at a time?
