Helicopter 534 has reported 2 additional fires during their recon. One is located near South Fork Meadows and the other is just northwest of Dollar Lake. Both of these fires are CONFINED to a single tree with no ground fire at this time.

That’s a bit of hike, with Mc Louds and a full back pack. Poopout hill if they have to go on foot.

Walker, they have another lightning snag over by Dollar Lake. 534 has been doing a recon of the area and trying to figure out the best way to get firefighters to the fire.

Looks like 534 is over here doing some recon on the Anderson snag.

Helicopter 534 is done working on the SaddleRock Fire (this was the lightning snag reported yesterday east of Cactus Flats). They flew in a crew to button up this fire. Helicopter 534 will now be working with crews on the Anderson lightning snag.

It's pretty intuitive. Everything you need is on the front page. Live data, forecast, live cams, satellite & radar. Click the radar to see more radar sites, satellite for satellite, click on the forecast for more details, etc. It's all very interactive.

And it has a great rain-snowfall forecast in the menu, outlooks, etc. It's all built into the site, your one-stop shop!

I was kinda overwhelmed by the new bensweather page, theres so much going on that itll take a while to learn it and unlock all that it holds, its all good...

We have gotten some rain. Not long lasting but nice. No real down poor as of yet. Definitely cooler and loving it.
